A2002: How do I get rid of "life" subforms/subreports in design view?

I have upgraded from A97 to A2002 recently. There are some new features
which really drive me crazy. "Live" subforms/subreports is one of these new
features.
Is there any option to make all my subforms/subreports to behave as in A97?
I have experienced (maybe two or three times) that subforms were OK (ie. A97
behaviour) when I opened a form. But it doesn't happen very often. (I have a
Czech version of A2002.)

Are you aware that, in A2002, you can right-click on the subform control
(in the form's design view) and choose Subform in New Window from the
context menu?

I know that there's is an option to do that. But instead a simple
double-click one must:
1) right-click on the border of subform
2) select an option from a drop-down menu

I'd prefer double-click.

I can't offer you a double-click method, but you could set an Autokeys
macro to set a key combination to execute the action
