A2003 - Smart Tags - Are they useful

Just started using A2003 in earnest.

Have looked at the MS article on Smart Tags at -

As far as I can see you can use a Smart Tag to open MS Outlook to
create an email, diary appointment, contact, etc. Is this a useful
facility for an Access user, are there any problems with it, is it
just a gimmick, should I learn more about it?

There has not been much discussion about Smart Tags in this Newsgroup
(as far as I can tell) so I guess most developers don't use them
much, maybe.

Any thoughts.

I'd be inclined to agree with you. I see them popping up in Word or Excel
occasionally but that's about it.

I believe that the smartTags are what tells me with a big fat green arrow
when something has a bad sql statement; for example

so yeah-- of course they're wonderful

are what shows you with a green arrow if you've got something wrong with a
report.

I changed the color to red-- and I _LOVE_ this feature
