A2k FE connect to A97 BE

Hi all,
I am using an A2k frontend db that is linked to tables in
an A97 backend db. I am experiencing some trouble saving
records created in subforms in the front end.

My question is: Is it or is it not advisable to use an A2k
frontend on an A97 backend?

There should not be a problem with using an A2000 application and A97 data.

You may want to turn of Record Level Locking (Tools | Options | Advanced).
A97 does not support this.
