Are you saying your creation is A4 and you never actually designed it to fit A5?
You can re-setup your publication so it will print two per A4 sheet; resize all
the objects to fit.
What version Publisher?
For version 2007:
File, Page setup, Advanced on the right. Layout type, Multiple pages per sheet.
Type
14.8cm Width, 21cm Height.
Target sheet size
Custom:
29.7cm width
21cm height
zero margins.
The mini preview should say two columns of one
