Aaian fonts, how do I remove? Word 2002

When I pull up the font screen (either Format/Font or modifying a Style and
getting to the same screen) the font tab on the screen displays a single
space for Latin text font: and Asian text font. When I go to Tools/Options
I have Japanese Find and Asian Typography.

I'm looking for the font screen to have Font: with a listing of five fonts
under it. I just upgraded my Word 97 to Word 2002 on my XP laptop this
evening. I suspect this Asian and Latin font stuff may be causing me a
problem (see my earlier post on Word 2002 not responding). I have
uninstalled Word 2002 and reinstalled it and nowhere did I ask for these
Asian/Latin fonts to be installed. But they are here.

How can I remove them? And get the font screen back to normal without
them.
