Greetings:
I am using MS Office 2003. I had to format my hard drive now I am disparate!!
1.I made a copy of my Oultook1.PST file.
2.I reinstalled office. Outlook accounts came. I was able to send and
receive new mail just fine.
3.Using Windows Explorer I placed my Outlook1.PST file beside the new
Outlook.PST file in the folder (Local settings> Application data> Microsot>
outlook)
4.I tired to open it using (Open> Outlook Data files)I see the file but when
is select it I get a message “the Outlook1.PST is not a personal folder
file.â€
5. I tired the same process using the( tools > options>Mail setup>Data
files.) I get the same message.
PLEASE HELP ME. Outlook is my main filing system and I have files there
that are several years old
Thanks
