Ability to list "recent changes" or history

I confess that I'm often trying to see where i put my last note. It would be
great to see them chronologically. I know there is a Page list which can
sort by date for a search. the problem is that a search REQUIRES that you
include something to search for. Leaving it blank or "" gives an error.
Does anyone have a solution to either force a search for everything or show
recent edits (yes- i know Canvas can do this, but not ready for prime time)

There is a View | Pages Changed Recently command that may help a bit if you
haven't seen it yet.

Barring that, there is a powertoy at
http://blogs.msdn.com/johnguin/archive/2007/07/12/award-winning-powertoy.aspx
which creates a page with links to all the pages in a section ordered by
last time it was edited.
