It seems that a lot of corporate-wide appointments, and traveling and
scheduling with Pocket PC's would be much more manageable if Outlook allowed
the timezone to be specified.
Suppose I am in Central time. Then that's my default. But perhaps I am
traveling to NY. If I can put in 2:00 p.m. ET for a meeting, then when I
change the time zone on my Pocket PC to ET it should be able to automatically
handle the correct time for this appt versus others. Or, if a call is 3:00
PT, it should be able to automatically handle that.
This is a key function. Pocket PC's are getting more powerful and are
capable now of being good email devices and will soon be capable of a
reasonable amount of PC work. Being able to shift time zones will therefore
be important. This clearly distinguishes a Pocket PC from a Daytimer.
