Ability to Type on the Notepad Lines

J

James H

When the rule lines are activated, is there any possibility that the user
would be able to type on those lines like a word document (effectively,
typing instead of writing), and then be able to draw using the tool.

For example, If i wanted to take notes in a meeting, I could type on the
lines with OneNote (I do not have a tablet computer) and then be able to
annotate or draw with the drawing tools and a mouse.

Mmm... Thought for Office 12 boffins?

It'd be more useful if onenote could be used as a kind of pseudo-word
pseudo-note taking software which is easier to draw on.

Understood -- but I think the idea was to try to make it not be
pseudo-anything if they could help it. I think they want it to be a great
note-taking app and let Word be a great word processor.

Bad idea.

Excellent idea. What people want.

Bad idea.

No, it isn't.
Excellent idea. What people want.

Making OneNote a pseudo-half-product is a lousy idea. Unless, of course,
you want to see it doomed to mediocrity.

WHY DOES THIS GO ON???
EMRhelp we all know you want onenote to be a word processor, and file
managment tool. But it wont be anything more than a lowly notetaking tool.
Get used to it!
If you dont like it, go program something yourself, and make it the best
software available!

Easy, James. You can spot a troll by their posts. Just ignore them, except
where they're giving misinformation. If you go back and look at the trolls
posts you'll see what I mean. A troll only posts to see a reaction, not
with logic or actual intelligent information about the content of the
subject. Regardless of the correct information given them, they continue
onward, unaware of how ignorant the information that they post is viewed by
everyone else. Do not feed the trolls.
