Abnormal Bullet Points Word 2003 SP3

When combinining a paragraph, followed immediately on the next line down with
a bulleted list, every single line of text is given a bullet point. It is
not until I hit Ctrl+Z that the line I wanted to bullet is bulleted. I'm
using Word 2003 SP3. This problem is extremely frustrating seeing as I write
several reports each week, most demanding the use of bulleted lists.

Sorry to inform you, you have landed in the Office > Word > Macintosh
Newsgroup.

Although many of the MVP's work multiple groups, you may get quicker
answers in The Office PC groups.

However; don't feel disheartened someone may give you an answer anyway
if they can.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!

Hi Jonny,
Did I get it OK?
You write a line push the bullet button and no bullet is visible till
you press CTRL+Z?
There might be several things to check, but I have too little
information from you, I will put my guesses here as I'm going abroad,
so you can pick to most appropriate meanwhile without my assistence:

1. My first guess is that that particular level of bullet does not
have any mark associated. navigate to Format>bullets and numbering>and
look at the outline number whether each level has any mark associated.

2. How do you go to next line in bullets? by Enter or CTRL+Enter? CTRL
+Enter breaks the line manually - it's still counted as 1 line
although there are 2 lines, so the next line will not have any mark at
the beginning

3. I have misunderstand your explanation and you are rather looking
for this:

Hope this helps a little bit
