Hi all
Windows XP Pro version 2002 SP1
Office XP Pro / Outlook version 2002 (10.6515.6626) SP3
This is a Home PC configuration with 5 users (simultaneous log-ons are
disabled).
Whenever a user logs on who is different from the last user to open Outlook,
then on the first occasion of opening Outlook we get an error message. The
title bar of the error message reads "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library",
and the body of the error message reads "Runtime Error! Program C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE abnormal program termination
[OK]".
If I click on OK then the error message closes as does Outlook. However if
I then re-launch Outlook it opens OK with apparently no problems, so the
problem is a minor irritation and not critical, but any ideas what is going
wrong?
The problem seems to have started ever since I installed Symantec's "Norton
Internet Security". Perhaps I should better address my question in a
Symantec forum? (any suggestions on that front also appreciated)
