abnormal spacing in words

I have a document that looks fine on the screen and in
print preview, but prints with abnormal spacing. The
entire document is full justified (for publishing/printing)
and I am using Windows/Word XP. For example,

How c an jus t i c e be deter min ed using....

When is should read: How can justice be determined using...

Any clues? We've looked at the properties, kerning, etc.,
and no clue.

Please help.

This usually turns out to be a printer driver issue. Try deleting and
reinstalling the printer or updating the driver from the manufacturer's Web
site.
