About Excel Micros

Why do a couple of micros that I was working on start
automatically when I start Excel? How can I Delete them
so that when I start Excel I get "Excel Book 1" instead
of Macros? Tried "help" Suggestions of holding the Shift
Key while starting Excel, does not work. Cannot find
where these micros reside for eventual deletion. Any Help?

Do you have a directory called XLSTART and can you provide a directory
listing of that, please.

Also, do you have a file called Personal.xls on your system, and if so where
is it located?

Try opening the workbook, open the visual basic part ALT-F11 -- go to
'this workbook' and see whats in there. I don't think they would
actually be running automatically unless you specifically wanted them
to, and thats the place you would do it.
