About Managed Periods (reply me soon)

Hi,

When I set Managed periods and after setup if i want to delete these managed
periods the delete option is dim and the managed periods which i set to
closed are not deleting .

and other thing tell me if i want to manage period of one day . how i can do
it rather project server is not allowing gap and overlap b/w periods i think
its is not legal
