About reports how to find reports(Pls reply me soon)

Hi,

my manager want a report in which he want to know
work and actual work of particular employee of one month with respect to one
project or multiple projects.

Format of Report
------------------

Month : ----------

Employee name Project Work Actual work Manager Name





Note: (work and actual work in hours and in total )
---------------------------------------------------

actually schedule of company 8 hours per day that means 160 hours per month
he need to work because (saturday and sunday) is off

but employee has done 120 hours worked in one month . that means we need
report of this scenario in which we can view the total hours of actual work
of employee out of work assigned to him.


tell me how i can find reports of like this from where

is it possible to print out reports from project professional
or from sql server reporting service
some thing else method

You could create a Portfolio Analyzer view for this purpose. Create it as
follows:

1. Add the Resources dimension to the Row Fields drop area
2. Add the Projects dimension to the Row Fields drop area to the right of
the Resources dimension
3. Add the Work and Actual Work fields to the Total Fields drop area
4. Add the Time dimension to the Column fields drop area and select only
the month you want to see
5. Save the new View

Expand the projects for each resource and you have the information you seek.
You could then export this to Excel from within the Portfolio Analyzer view.
