About Task Deletion

Hi,

I want to know if i create a task from project web access and that was wrong
hours which i entered .and save the task. now i want to delete this task
from web access . it is any option in web access that i will delete the
task.

how i can delete the task from web access which i created through web access
..

If you create a task through PWA then it first needs to get approved
before it completely gets added to the project in project professional.
I don't believe there is a way to delete this taks in PWA. Three
things you can try:

1) Go through the whole approval process to add the task assignment to
the project in project professional, then delete the task assignment in
project professional and re-publish the project. The task assignmnt
should have an X in the indicator field showing that it has been
deleted. You can then hide the assignment using the hide button in
your timesheet.

or
2) Open up your project in project professional and re-publish
assignments for the entire project and check the "Overwrite actuals"
button. This might get rid of the assignment for you in PWA.

or
3) save the project off as an mpp, delete the project from the server
from the Admin tab in PWA. Re-import the mpp project file and publish
all information.

There is no easy way to do what you want to do just through PWA.
