about the deletion of hours in tasks

Hi ,

when we enter hours on the wrong task by mistake and manager updated it
also.
now after few days when we want to delete it from there and enter into
correct task .what we need to do.
Although the hours are stored in timesheet and in project professional and
in the database how we can delete hours of any task of particular date .
which will be deleted from all places and will not create problems in
future.

Best option what I have seen is Zero out the hours and enter new hours in
correct task and sent the task for manager's approval. This should be done by
resource.

If the manager wants to perform this activity then he needs access to adjust
actuals and he can zero out the hours where he see's the there is wrong time
entered.
