about the difficult behaviour of importing of projects into new system

Hi,

I want to ask one important thing.

I was facing a problem in project server database and in enterprise resource
pool and due to lot of effort it was not resolved . then what i have to do I
have save all my projects to (mpp) files . and then prepare new project
server into new system.
and then imports all mpp files into new system .

then i ran query in the query analyzer to find out about the resources
actual working hours. it was not displaying .
because the "wwork_type" field in the "msp_web_work" table are all showing
zero . why it is showing zero .
because it effecting in our query result.

the second thing is that after importing the mpp files into new system the
user can see their tasks into their time sheets but they cant see previous
days entries.

why this behaviour is happening in epm or project server

Hi,

use the import wizard and republish the assignments with option overwrite
actual work.
