Delete the original project using Admin > Cleanup MOPS database. Import the
mpp plan from your desktop from Project Pro using Tools > Enterprise Options
Import Project to Enterprise. Use the Republish feature to republish all
assignments and select the checkbox to overwrite actual work in the
timesheets. You must use republish, rather than Publish new and changed,
because Project Server will see this newly imported project as an existing
project because the Project Server signature is retained in the mpp file.
You'll need to decide what to do with the SharePoint site when you delete
and restore.

Generally speaking, moving projects in and out of the server is a bad
practice and should only be done when absolutely necessary.
