Yesterday when I created a hyperlink in a word document, the "Link to"
box displayed the absolute pathname, which is what I wanted.
Today when I created a hyperlink, the "Link to" box displayed the
relative pathname, which I do not want. This is because I want to
display the absolute location of my word document so my husband knows
exactly where it is located on the computer. I have lots of documents
and long pathnames, so I do not want to enter this info in by hand.
How can I get it back to displaying the absolute pathname? And what did
I inadvertantly do to change the default in MS Word's hyperlink feature
from absolute pathnames to relative pathnames.
I have MS Office 2004 for Mac OS X. My Mac OS X version is 10.4.5.
Thanks in advance
Deb
