Absolute Positioning in FrontPage

Create a new html page, insert an ActiveX control in the page, set it to use
"Absolute Positioning", now move the control. Why does it change its size?
The height and width increases by 10 pixels whenever you drag and drop the
control. Why is that and how to get rid of it?

Don't drag and drop it - try changing its position in the positioning style.
Does it still expand?

It doesn't change the size when changing the style's LEFT and TOP properties,
but I don't think the users would be happy to play with the numbers to move a
control.

So I guess that clicking and dragging is the source of the problem. You
need to make sure that these users know how to do this without resizing the
layer, then.

I don't understand your answer. Is there no solution for clicking and
dragging? Is it not supported in FrontPage or are we doing something wrong?

Please try it with an ActiveX control in the design pane. Please tell us how
you do it without "resizing the layer".
