Academic Version Ownership

Who can legally own an "Academic Version" of software such
as "Office 2000 Pro"?
I have a daughter in college that does not live at home.
She has her own computer and oem installed Office software.

I think that your daughter qualifies as an AE user.however, contact MS using
one of the phone numbers at microsoft.com/usa or microsoft.com/worldwide to
get a confirmation on that.
