ACC95 - Out of memory error starting db from shortcut

We have an Access 95 db on a network share that users open
from a desktop shortcut pointing to the file. This has
been working fine until 2 weeks ago when 2 workstations
started getting the "out of memory" error upon opening.

The only changes have been security updates to Windows.
They all run W2k with less than 512MB of RAM.
However, if I open Access directly I can open the db.

I've searched the MS KB and various other web resources to
no avail.

Can anyone please help! Thanks in advance.
