Acc97->Acc2K->Acc97 compress filesize

Hi

Something very funny:
If I convert in Acc2K a compressed Acc97 database to a
Acc2K database format and convert it back from Acc2K to
Acc97 format the filesize is a lot smaller than before.

example:
Acc97 original filesize, compiled and compressed = 17K
Acc2K converted filesize = 7K
Acc97 converted back, compiled and compressed, filesize =
5K
Comparing the original and the reconverted database in
Acc97 all objects are identical.

Does this indicate that the converting feature of Acc97
does not work best? So that if you really want small
databases you must compress them by converting them to
Acc2K and back to Acc97? Any other explanations?
