ACC97 SR2 "There isn't enough free memory to update the display"

When navigating a datasheet in Access 97 SR2 on a Windows XP SP1 machine with
512MB of memory we are seeing the following error “There isn't enough free
memory to update the display Close unneeded programs and try again". We have
change the paging file to be 1.5x the system RAM and have made it does not
exceed 1GB.
I have tried the MS Resource Kit “leaky App†tool to try and determine there
root cause; however I have drawn a blank! The application log shows no
evidence of the hang nor does it offer any pointers. Can anyone offer some
guidance please?

I would recommend you to use in menu Tools command Repair database and
then try again.
