Acc97 & XP Report will not move to end of page on printer

When I print the report, the printer does not advance the
paper the full length for every record, it comes up 1/8"
short. Which then becomes 1/4" by the second page and so
on.

This pertains to Access 97 running on a Windows XP Pro
system.

I have a tractor fed printer (OkiData 390 turbo) that uses
a form 8.5" x 7". I have the printer set for a lentgth of
7" (When I hit the FF button the printer does move 7" to
the next form so the printer works correctly).

The Acc97 report has an index header and a single detail
line (which could have up to 10 records to print). The
column setup for the report is 6.375" x .25" with set to
detail line checked (and I also tried it off and set the
column to 8.5" x 7"). Bottom margin set to 0.

In XP, I created a form for the printer 8.5" x 7" and set
it as the default form for the printer.

If I increase the length of the form in XP to 7.125"
(reported as 7.13" XP only allows 2 decimal places). The
paper then moves beyond the form length and makes the
printing off by making the page to long, and prints onto
the next page (at least by the third page printed).

From my observation, changing the report in Acc97 has no
effect on the form length for the printer. It seems that
XP is the controlling factor. I do not know how to get
around this issue. I tried creating a dummy report with a
detail line physically 7" long and the XP form set to 7"
and it still came up 1/8" short.

Any ideas would be greatly aprreciated.
