Creating a Word doc with the Polish name Sierpinski. Directly above the "n"
there should be a tick mark which looks exactly like an accent mark.

I know the trick for putting this mark over a vowel (control -') but for
some reason this doesn't work when I try and put it over the letter"n".

Ideas?

Thanks -

You can find this character in the Insert Symbol dialog as glyph 0144 (in
the Latin Extended-A character subset). To assign a shortcut key, select the
character, click the Shortcut Key button, type in your desired shortcut key,
and click Assign. If you want to use Ctrl+', n, press this combination. You
can also assign Ctrl+', N for the capital letter (character 0143).
