Accept Meeting Request goes to public and private calendar?

I have users with a personal calendar and a public calendar. The front
desk schedules appointments for them on their public calendar, they
arent meeting requests they are just scheduled. But people in other
departments often send meeting requests, if the users accept them they
appear on their personal calendar. Every once in a while the front
desk will schedule an appointment before the users can upate their
public calendar to reflect the meeting they just accepted, and the
appointment has to be cancelled. The appoinments on the public
calendar are from our customers, that is why there is no meeting
request, we want to be available for our customers but it is even worse
to tell them later their appointment has been cancelled. Does all this
make sense?

Basically I want it so that when someone accepts a meeting request it
shows up on their personal and public calendar at the same time?

As soon as they make the appointment, they can drag it with their Right
Mouse button to the Public Calendar, release and select Copy. They can then
have their copy on the second calendar in 3 seconds!!
