accept or reject buttons missing when receiving tasks

we have pop3 account and are using outlook 2002. i have created tasks and set
the receiver , date etc.
but when we exchange tasks with each other, we cannot see the accept
or reject buttons. we get it as a mail. when we open the mail, we
cannot see these buttons.
i tried changing the mail format to plain text . still no luck.currently the
mail format is html.

any help.

Tasks best works with Exchange server, What is your mail format, RTF is the
best way to do this.
