Acceptable Visio Modifications

Hi,

I'm new to Visio development. The application I have in mind would, if
possible, turn off various Visio menus and dialogs (only while the user is
using my add-ons and templates) in order to present info to the user in a
more tailored way. I've heard, however, that Microsoft limits what you can do
if you want to be an approved Microsoft partner.

After much searching and Googling, I haven't found the Microsoft doc that
details the restrictions. Can anyone point me to it?

Thank you,
Bob

I know of no restrictions like you mention....
The Visio SDK has code examples of how to modify the UI

What limits do you think there are?
As long as you follow the standard Windows GUI design guidelines then
I'm sure you can do as you like.
