Accepted Appointments Become Recurring Automatically

I am using Outlook 2007, but the other staff in my office are using Outlook
2003. When ever I accept a meeting invitation sent by them, my calendaring
automatically turns it into a recurring meeting. These meetings should not
be recurring. Is there anyway to turn this off or is it a compatibility
issue between the two versions?

New Dell? Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs - uninstall outlookaddinsetup.

Milly,

Thank you for this, rather uncanny tip. I was searching for this subject for
two days and stumbled here. yes I too have a new Dell, actually its a Vostro
model that should not have funky plugins. Uninstalling outlookaddinsetup
fixsed my problem.

FYI other symptoms are, when saving a new or changing appointments, changing
catagories, then appt becomes recurring. Being on exchange is not a
prereqisite.

Thanks again,

George
