accepting calendar update

when trying to accept a meeting update I get the following message
"You cannot respond to a meeting without an organizer. You must add an
organizer field to the item."

I am running CDO 1.21 and all of my exchange servers are updated with Exch
SP2 and latest Exchange patches as of August 2008.

Any ideas?
