Accepting changes

While in Word2007, I cannot accept changes made on my old and abandoned
laptop when I was using Word2003. No problem with changes made while in 2007.
Any suggestions? (Saving the 2003 doc as a 2007 doc did not help. Changes are
simply not recognized.)

Thanks for getting back. When I try, the cursor simply skips down a half page
or so. Document remains unchanged.
