Accepting Invites with POP3

Does anyone know if there is a way with a POP3 Outlook XP
client to accept invitations for meeting requests? The
exchange clients can, but the options are not available
for the POP3 clients. Is this possible?

When sending request over the internet most time the rich text will be lost either by the receiving server of just in the hops.

Part of the rich text in messages is something called TNEF (transport neutral encapsulation format)

To properly test to see if TNEF is being stripped:

Make sure to turn OFF Word as the email editor...

1. open a new mail message

2. click insert, Item

3. select the contacts folder

4. select a contact and click ok. It should show up as an icon that looks like a

business card.

5. send the email and if it is received as a "closed envelope" and not a business

card, TNEF is being stripped

The following article will answer your question the best.
