Accepting Labor Time in PWA

D

Deb

I currently have 15 Admin projects that I am responsible for accepting labor
time.
This is very cumbersome and time consuming. I have used rules with the
criteria of accepting all changes. However, when I run the rules it doesn't
always work and when it does I have to manually save the changes. The
literature states the rules will "incorporate the changes" which it does
sometimes but then I have to manually save each project. The way it stands
now pressing "accept all" and then update is faster then using the rules, but
then I have to close all the projects.
Either way is very time consuming. Is there an easier way out there?

Hi Deb,

unfortunalty there is no easier way for accepting Admin projects. I
understand that with 15 admin projects to update you are busy. You may be
able to consolidate some of the admin projects.

I personally are not a big fan of admin projects, since they are slow and
limited in their functionality, but If you use PS for your time entry you
will not get arround the admin project.

In Project Server 2007 it will be much better, since you are able to
approve time online without the need of Project Professional
