Acces issue to Risks, Issues and documentsin PWA

The user has all the trusted site settings in place and all the usual
settings. But is prompted with the username, password and domain prompt!!

I can Also see the user under the "Manage User" in admin section But he is
not listed under resources.

Why does this happen? any solutions?

Is this user set up with Windows Authentication or Project Server
Authentication? Access to WSS requires Windows Authentication.

The user is set up with windows Authentication. We are using AD authentication.

Any other thoughts
