Hi Dave,
I have encountered some conflicts with multiple versions of Access, but
they're usually not too hard to solve. These include a blank Linked Table
Manager (
http://home.comcast.net/~cccsolutions/accesstips.html) and the
database documentor not working properly (not that I use this tool very often
at all).
There have been early reports of the Help files failing to work when Access
2007 and 2003 are installed on the same partition. One way to avoid any
potential headaches is to install Virtual PC (VPC). This is a free download
from Microsoft. You will want to have plenty of available RAM memory (1 GB
minimum) before considering the use of VPC, but, if you choose to go this
route, you will have truly isolated installations.
Note: You'll need to load an operating system for each VPC that you create.
I'll leave the licensing issues up to you to decide the best way to approach
this.
