Access '07 Beta 2, "Record(s) cannot be deleted, no delete permiss

I have two tables linked with a one-to-many relationship. When I attempt to
remove the relationship when looking at the related tables in the
Relationships database tool, I receive the following message:

"Record(s) cannot be deleted, no delete permission on 'MSysObjects'."

The Access database that I am using was created by myself on my laptop, and
as far as I know I have admin privs.

Can someone please explain what is happening and what I can do to correct
this and be able to work freely with the relationships that I have created?

Yo, MVP's and people who know stuff...

I could really use an answer to this issue. Is there some app setting that I
missed that relates to the problem? I have not been able to locate one...

The message is not one that makes much sense.

If this is an accdb (not an old secured mdb), it suggests that there is a
corruption within the database. You could solve the issue by creating a new
database, and importing everything.

1. Create a new (blank) database, by clicking the Microsoft Office button
(top left), and choosing New. Specify a new name.

2. In the new database, click the External Data tab of the ribbon, and click
the Access icon in the Import group. Choose the database, and click Ok.
Access opens the Import Objects dialog

3. Click the Options button, and uncheck the button for Relationships.
Select all objects on all tabs, and click Ok to complete the import.

You now have a (presumably unsecured) new database, with the data, but
without the problem relationships.

Yes Allen, I've never run into this before with previous versions of Access
so it does not makes sense. I'll give your suggestion a try. Thanks!

Thanks for the assistance in rebuilding the database. I was able to recover
all of my work without carrying the relationships forward.

I then created a relationship, exited Access and launched it again, and then
was able to remove the relationship. So, apparently for the moment I can
continue with my design activities.
