Hi,

I'm trying to find out what the maximum physical size you
can have for an Access v2.0 MDB file.

I have heard it is 256mb, but can anyone confirm this, and
maybe point me to where this information can be found?

Many many thanks

1 Gb, same as Access 95 and 97. It's in Appendix A of the User's Guide (the
printed manual that should have come with your copy of Access 2.0) Afraid I
don't have Access 2.0 installed on this machine, so I can't check whether
it's in the Help file as well (In Access 97, it's under "Specifications,
Microsoft Access")

Thanks Doug,

The only reason I'm unable to look at the help
file/manual, is because we don't have Access 2.0 either.
It's just that we have an application that uses Access 2.0
db's and they are trying to sel us their new sparkly
version of the software - and told us that Access 2.0 has
a file size limit of 256mb (a big concern of ours is we're
currently at 190mb and that only contains 4 months of
records)

Now I need to address the performace issues it's having,
since every time a user makes a request to the database,
it looks like the client drags the entire db locally to
process every time... not good really :(

Thanks anyway
