Access 200 Single User access

Hi there.

I have an Access 2000 database and would like to make it accessible to only
one user at a time. Is there a way to do this - perhaps incorporating a
message to say somebody is already in the database?

In TOOLS/OPTIONS/ADVANCED, you can set the default open mode to EXCLUSIVE.

Why do you want to restrict it to one user at a time?

Perhaps you are trying to solve a problem that actually has a better
solution?
