i currently have Access 2000 installed with SP-3. My
instructor in a college course I'm taking Intro to
Database Management has listed Access 2002 as the required
progam for the course. Will/Does my Access 2000 work as
well as Access 2002?. Thanks for the answers

Not in my experience; 2000 was rather buggy and prone to crash, 2002
is a fair bit more stable. And Access2000 will not be able to open a
database in Access2002 format (the reverse situation is OK however).

While there were not a huge number of new features introduced in Access
2002, there were some, and obviously if those new features are covered in
the course, you will not be able to use them in the earlier version. There
were also some changes to the UI that may cause some confusion. I think the
best advice I can offer is to discuss the issue with your instructor.
