ACCESS 2000 And OFFICE XP: Compatability

I have MS Office XP Professional on a new machine,
Windows XP operating system. It does not have MS
Access. I did have MS Access 2000 with an older machine
but do not use it anymore. Does anyone know if I can
load only MS Access from Office 2000 onto the new machine
which currently has XP?

Yes, you can. I'd advise installing it into a different subdirectory than
the default, though.

you might want to look at the knowledge base article regarding "how to
install access" versions on the same machine.

I think you need to rename the msaccess.exe and the hatten.ttf font, and
back up your shortcuts first but the KB article describes it.
