Access 2000 Crashes with no Message Given

Matt Welp

Have had this problem with complex queries in the past
with 2000, though never with previous versions at a
previous company.

Many subqueries, with one being a crosstab. Worked fine
until...crash...nothing given, just gone. This occurs
when trying to open in design or datasheet view.

Do I need the most recent service pack upgrade, or do I
have to dumb-down.

Appreciated,

Matt

I had the same thing this week. Nearest as I could determine, it was a
corruption issue. I compacted and repaired numerous times, and also
recreated the query from the SQL. I did not go so far as to import all
objects to a new .mdb file, but you can try that too.

How do you get to the SQL without first opening the query
in some fashion, which i can't do at all.
