access 2000 database will not open when moved to web server

We installed a web server in house for our Intranet. We
moved all files - now using a http protocol. A 2000
access database cant be accessed by office xp/windows2000
or office2000/windows2000 users but can be accessed by
office xp/windows xp users?? HELP! Our management team is
trying to access this database and access will not open
database....
