Access 2000 Error

I've created a contacts database in Access 2002 and saved it in Access 2000 format. I've replicated the database w/o issue. I am able to run 2 replicas and the design master from WIN XP / Access 2002 w/o any problems. If I try to run the design master or a replica from a WIN2K client running Access 2000, I can open it once, or synchronize once and then I receive the generic "Access has experienced an error. You may have to restart the program. MSACCESS.EXE an error log is being created." I've updated the WIN2K clients to MDAC 2.8, but get the same error. I've tried repairing the design master and recreating the replica and end up w/ the same problem. Also, I can't find any error detail info in the event viewer, nor can I locate the "error log" file. Any ideas?

Thanks much

Mike
