Word2000 can be installed by itself or it can be one of the applications
installed with MS Office2000. So you need to determine if you have MS
Office2000 installed. MS Office2000 comes in several versions. You need MS
Office2000 Professional to get Access2000. Go to Start - Settings - Control
Panel - Add Or Remove Programs and look through the list to see if you have
MS Office 2000 Professional installed.

OK... Since you have the Professional version of Office you have Access.
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Go to My Computer - Local Disk(C:)
3. Scroll down to Program files and click on Program Files
4. Scroll down to MIcrosoft Office 2000 Professional and click on MIcrosoft
Office 2000 Professional
5. Click on Office
6. In the right pane, find the file MSAccess.exe. Right click on
MSAccess.exe
7. In the dialog that appears, click on Create Shortcut. 8. Shortcut To
MSAccess.Exe will be created at the end of the list in the right pane
8. Scroll the left pane to the top so that you see Desktop at the top of
the list
9. Click and drag Shortcut To MSAccess.Exe in the right pane and drop it on
Desktop in the left pane.
10. Close Windows Explorer
11. Go to your desktop. You should see a Shortcut To MSAccess.Exe icon
there.
12. Right click on the icon. A dialog should appear. Click on Rename
13. Type Access2000 to overwrite then press Enter.
