Access 2000 Jet Engine Problems

We've had the same database for 3 years now, no problems
until recently. Frequently we try to go into the database
only to recieve this message
"The Micorsoft Jet database engine could not find teh
object 'MsysDb'. Make sure the object exists and that you
spell its name and path correctly.

This database resides on our server, so is it server
problems or could it be our Anti-Virus software or none of
the above? Thanks for any and all help!!

It sounds to me as though your database may be corrupt. Check out Tony
Toews' "Corrupt MDB FAQ" page,

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

Since this only recently started happening, consider whether something
has recently changed about your network or the workstations that are
accessing the database. It could be that there's a new network card
that is flaky, or there's been a change in the operating systems that
requires an adjustment to the OpLocks setting.
