Access 2000 mde??

Hi there,

I was believed that one can run access mde files on any machine like an
executable?
It seem that I was wrong in that assumption.
Do Users require, in order to run access mde to have Access.exe either as
runtime or normal installation installed??

What are some other options??

That is correct. In an mde file, all the VBA code is compiled, and its
forms, reports, etc. can no longer be modified. The mde still requires the
Access run-time components.
