This one is very frustrating. For over 4 years I've happily used these two
products together, with all Office files (including Access 2000) being
recorded in the Outlook 2003 journal. Also works fine on my current netbook
installation in the last 3 months.
Just built a new more powerful PC, installed XP Pro etc. and Office 2003,
and Access 2000, and nope, even though ticked in options and logged in
registry, Access 2000 files no-longer appear in the journal. Since this is
quite important to me as a developer for tracking work for clients, this is a
major p-in-a. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can re-establish the
link between Access 2000 and Outlook 2003?
And before people ask - development environment is lowest common denominator
for universal deployment purposes - different VM have Access 2003 and Access
2007 installations - upgrading just not an option in the base machine
installation. I have tried re-installing, fixing, deleting everything,
installing Office 2000 complete and upgrading everything but Access etc. etc.
all service packs etc. and yet now it simply doesn't work on this machine
regardless, whilst it has always worked before. HELP!!! Anyone know of any
registry incantations or what-ever I can check/alter?
Thanks in advance
