Access 2000 shutsdown with no message

Any ideas on why Access 2000 on XP is sutting down with no errors/event log.

I've tried to create a brand new db and when I select anything (table, form,
main screen) program just aborts.

I have this same issue on other machines. Was fine till yesterday.

Help.

It's usually a corrupt database file; however, it's happening to you on new
databases. It's also happening on multiple machines.

The big question is: what changed since yesterday? Has a patch been applied?
Software installed? Network changes?

Only thing that may have changed was Window auto updates? I think I was
prompted to install when logging out Monday night but I'm not sure.

Looking at my other machine It appears updates are waiting to be installed.

I'll try a repair but any other ideas are welcome.

If so you could try using System Restore to a day prior to the problem
happening.

Updates have messed me up in the past. I've had to block a couple of patches
in the past to prevent problems.
